Latest Marilyn’s Musing
Dear Employers that are hiring
“On yer bike…”
I am upset, and I have had enough, but what can I do?
The new bike I had ordered in January, which was going to arrive in March and then in April, is now not coming. When I rang on Friday to see where it was, they could not find the order. When I went to see them in person, they confirmed that my order was no longer in the system and that the next expected delivery was in October. October!!!
So how did this bike purchase impact my thinking for this musing?

Recent Events
This full-day event examined the key drivers behind successful innovation, translation, and commercialisation of medical devices and diagnostics in Victoria. It also included a deep dive into the environment and the approach being taken to further develop the ecosystem.
The origins of demand and the benefits and challenges of research-driven and market-driven technologies was also considered.
Thanks to BioMelbourne for organising a great networking event with some robust discussions.
The BioMelbourne Network held a BioForum event in person at ACMI and online on the 13th of April 2022. An overview of some of the support and funding options available was provided to help organisations within the biotech sector grow.
Participants heard about investment options, as well as incubators and accelerators from both private and government sources. Expert speakers also examined how these resources can work together within the biotech ecosystem and how organisations can leverage this to benefit themselves and the biotech industry as a whole.
