It was a full three days of events and connecting. I wish I had more time to go to all the talks. Thanks to Lorraine and her team. It was great to see Professor Kerrie Wilson as the new Queensland Chief Scientist, and to have Michele Bauer (Deputy Director General Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning), emphasising the government’s substantial and ongoing commitment to the sector. Seven of the state’s key biomanufacturing organisations have combined forces to form the BMA and boost the sector in Queensland, with the MOU formalising the arrangement and providing a platform for expanding it.
